Manta Token Analysis, Price, Market-cap and Future Predictions

Bombolo | News and Media

Manta Network is a platform or system for decentralized applications (DApps) on the internet. "Modular" means it has different parts that can be combined in different ways, like building blocks. "Web3" refers to the next generation of the internet that is decentralized, secure, and user-centric. Users can create and launch applications on Manta Network using a programming language called Solidity, commonly used for Ethereum blockchain applications.

Manta Network aims to process transactions (actions on the blockchain) more quickly than Layer 1 (L1) solutions. Layer 1 is the main blockchain layer (like Ethereum or Bitcoin).

Gas is the fee users pay for transactions on the blockchain. Manta Network aims to make these fees lower than Layer 2 (L2) solutions. Layer 2 is a secondary solution built on top of a main blockchain to enhance scalability. It promises faster transaction processing than main blockchains (like Ethereum) and lower fees than secondary solutions built on top of them.

Manta Network is now more widely used and has more activity than the previous fourth-largest Layer 2 solution on Ethereum, often referred to as the "Base Network. Layer 2 solutions are like add-ons or upgrades that help improve the performance of the Ethereum network while Base Network likely refers to one of the existing Layer 2 solutions on Ethereum. Manta Network is another Layer 2 solution for Ethereum, and it has become more popular than the Base Network.

Price:

Manta Network has collected a total of $60.40 million.

Let's simplify the information about Manta Network's funding:

Private Token Sales (Investors):

In private sales, individuals or groups bought 24.11% of all MANTA tokens. These tokens were sold at prices ranging from $0.025 to $0.5 USD per MANTA token. Private sales mean that a select group of investors got the chance to buy these tokens before the general public.

Public Token Sales:

In public sales, 8% of the total MANTA tokens were made available for purchase by anyone interested. These tokens were sold at a fixed price of $0.36 USD per MANTA token. Public sales are open to anyone, not just specific investors.

In simple terms, Manta Network raised $60.40 million by selling a portion of its tokens. They first offered some to private investors at different prices, and then a smaller portion was made available to the public at a fixed price.

Market-cap:

MANTA's total token supply as of January 18th, 2024 is 1,000,000,000 tokens. When MANTA is listed (made available for trading on exchanges), only a portion of the total tokens will be circulating, which means actively available in the market for buying and selling.

Specifically, 25.10% of the total token supply, which is 251,000,000 tokens, will be in circulation upon listing.

In simple terms, out of the total 1 billion MANTA tokens, only 251 million will be in circulation and available for trading when the tokens are listed on exchanges. The remaining tokens may be held by the project team, locked up, or reserved for specific purposes.

Future Predictions:

Predicting how much Manta Network will be worth in five years is very difficult. The value of cryptocurrencies can change a lot because of different things, like how the US dollar is doing, rules set by governments, how the technology improves, what people think about the market, how many Manta Network tokens are available for trading, and how well the overall project is growing. Because of all these factors, it's not possible to say for sure what the price of Manta Network will be in five years.
